Big 12 Unveils First Gymnastics Preseason Team

The Big 12 Conference has announced the 2025 Big 12 Gymnastics Preseason Team, the first from the league in its 28th season. The 2025 gymnastics season will be the first with a regular-season schedule and a regular-season title up for grabs.

Arizona, Arizona State and Utah embark on their first season in the Conference, expanding the league’s membership to seven programs. They join BYU, Iowa State, West Virginia and affiliate member Denver.

Honoring gymnasts in four events and the All-Around, six programs were represented among the 31 selections. Selections were voted by head coaches who could not vote for their own gymnasts. A tie in floor created an extra position.

The season for Big 12 gymnastics teams begins Jan. 3 with Conference duals starting Jan. 17.
