TCU’s Evan Hendrix (offensive) and Samara Coleman (rookie) were joined by Kansas’ Ryan White (defensive) as the Big 12 Volleyball Players of the Week for the third week of the season.
Hendrix led the Big 12 with 58 total kills and recorded the most kills nationally (32) in a four-set match in the Horned Frogs’ win over then-No. 23 Missouri. The 32 kills set a career-high for Hendrix and are the most by a Big 12 player in the 2025 season. She recorded two double-doubles in the four wins, with both coming against top 25 opponents. Against then-No. 8 Texas A&M, the outside hitter finished with 10 kills and 16 digs before ending her week with 32 kills and 14 digs against then-No. 23 Missouri. The sophomore also added 34 digs, nine blocks, five assists, and an ace. It is her first weekly Conference award of her career.
White led the Conference with 4.78 digs per set as she helped the Jayhawks to three sweeps. She highlighted her week with a 27 dig-effort against South Dakota for the third-most digs this season in a three-set match nationally and the second-most by a Big 12 player in all matches this season. She was also flawless in serve receive with a 1.000 reception percentage on 35 attempts. It is her first Big 12 weekly honor after transferring into Lawrence this season.
Coleman helped TCU on both sides of the net as she finished the week with 24 kills and 27 digs. Her pinnacle moment of the week came in the Horned Frog’s 3-2 win against then-No. 8 Texas A&M. The freshman produced a career-high 19 kills on a .457 clip with two service aces and eight digs against the Aggies. She then ended the week with 11 digs against then-No. 23 Missouri.
